The foundation - typing skills

The important first thing for a writer to learn, is good typing skills... the faster you can type, the more fluidly you
will be able to get your ideas onto paper.

I don't know why I don't see any bloggers or writers encouraging this...  or teaching it. I remember in 1986, taking
 a typing class... and I felt so weird... because the idea of the teacher in my highschool, was that it was 
vocational training for people who wanted to be secretaries in offices. And in the 1980s, secretaryship
 was even more of a female dominated profession, than it is today.
